The Town of Palmer Lake is a quaint town nestled at the base of the National Forest.  Population is estimated at around 2200 people.  Palmer Lake is Statutory Town in El Paso County, Colorado, United States.  Palmer Lake was founded by General William Jackson Palmer in 1871.  A few years later the town was incorporated in 1889. 

There are three towns that make up the Tri-Lakes community.  While much of the area is dedicated to residential development, the Tri-Lakes, Colorado region is known for its three lakes: Palmer Lake, Monument Lake and Woodmoor Lake.
