MARCH 9, 2006 The Palmer Lake Liquor Licensing Authority meeting was called to order by Mayor McDonald at 7:01 p.m., March 9, 2006 Attendees:
Item #2: Approval of Minutes – February 2, 2006 Trustee Parker made a motion to approve the minutes of February 2, 2006, as written, seconded by Trustee Finan. Motion carried unanimously. Item #3: Special Event Liquor License - Gleneagle Sertoma Club – April 7, 2006 Trustee Finan made a motion to approve the Special Event Liquor License for Gleneagle Sertoma club, seconded by Trustee Cornell. Motion carried unanimously. Item #4: Special Event Liquor License – Tri-Lakes Chamber of Commerce – April 8, 2006 Trustee Parker made a motion to approve the Special Event Liquor License for Tri-Lakes Chamber of Commerce, seconded by Trustee Finan. Motion carried unanimously. Item #5: Special Event Liquor License – Tri- Lakes Center for the Arts – April 8, 2006 Trustee Finan made a motion to approve the Special Event Liquor License for Tri-Lakes Center for the Arts, seconded by Trustee Flake. Motion carried unanimously. Dennis Phillips, Chairman of Tri-Lakes Center for the Arts asked council for a determination of the survey for the Arts Club License they will be applying for. Due to the nature of the applicant's business combined with the amount of special event liquor licenses having been approved in the past, with no problems, the board agreed to waive the need for a survey. The members of the board for Tri-Lakes Center for the Arts can testify on their behalf, if necessary. Trustee Parker made a motion to waive the need for a survey for Tri-Lakes Center for the Arts pending application, seconded by Trustee Finan. Motion carried unanimously. Trustee Parker made a motion to adjourn at 7:05 p.m., seconded by Trustee Finan. Motion carried unanimously. Approved as written or amended this 6th day of April, 2006. Nikki McDonald, Mayor |
