The Palmer Lake Town Council Special meeting was called to order by Mayor Cressman at 6:03 p.m., August 26, 2008.

Item #2:  Motion to Enter into Executive Session – CRS 24-6-402(4)(a) – Attorney Conference

Trustee Stafford made a motion to enter into executive session at 6:04 pm, seconded by Trustee Jack.  Motion carried unanimously.

                        Sheela Stack, Water Attorney for the Town of Palmer Lake
                        David Kueter, Water Attorney for the Town of Palmer Lake
                        Skip Dinges, Water Rights Engineer for the Town of Palmer Lake
                        Greg Cook, Awake the Lake Representative
                        Larry Meyer, Awake the Lake Representative
                        Jeff Hulsman, Awake the Lake Representative
                        Stan Benton, Awake the Lake Representative

Trustee McDonald made a motion to exit the executive session at 7:07, seconded by Trustee Coleman.  Motion carried unanimously.

A short discussion was held regarding the observations of Attorney Gaddis regarding the SpireLine Contract.  Mayor Cressman will contact Chief Ferrin for clarification if the computers currently in use at the police office will be compatible with the software.

Trustee Jack made a motion to adjourn at  7:10 pm, seconded by Trustee McDonald.  Motion carried unanimously.
