Planning Commission Meeting The Palmer Lake Planning Commission was called to order by Chairperson Jan Bristol at 7:05 p.m. in the Palmer Lake Town Hall. Attendees: Commissioners
AUDIENCE: 5 ITEM #1: Call to Order: 7:15 p.m. ITEM #2: Comments by Commissioners, Staff or Public on items not on the agenda Mayor Nikki McDonald asked that the Commission read the information that was forwarded to them by the Town Council on Ted Bauman and Lewis Palmer Lake School District 38. Mr. Bauman is asking Palmer Lake to implement impact fees to all new developers included single-family to major developments. The Town of Palmer Lake is the only entity that does not participate within the Tri-Lakes area. All commissioners are in agreement that it needs to be placed on the agenda for February. ITEM # 3: Approval of the minutes December 20, 2001. COMMISSIONER TROMBLEY MADE A MOTION TO APPROVE THE MINUTES FROM DECEMBER 20, 2000 AS WRITTEN, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER CRESSMAN. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. ITEM #4: Signage request - Dan Fraley COMMISSIONER CRESSMAN MADE A MOTION TO APPROVE THE SIGNAGE REQUEST FOR DAN FRALEY WITH THE CONDITION THAT ALL SIGNS ALONG HIGHWAY 105 ARE BEHIND THE EXISTING PICKET FENCE, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER HAMMOND. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. ITEM #5: Request for a Conditional Use in an CC Zone for a Multi-Family Dwelling - Dan Fraley Mr. Fraley requested at the January 10, 2001 Planning Commission Workshop for a Conditional Use be granted for a Multifamily Dwelling, after further discussion with the property owners they decided to change it to a Single-Family Dwelling. COMMISSIONER HARRIS MADE A MOTION TO RECOMMEND TO TOWN COUNCIL THE APPROVAL FOR A SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING IN A CC ZONE AS PRESENTED ON JANUARY 17, 2001, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER CRESSMAN. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. COMMISSIONER HAMMOND A MOTION TO ADJOURN AT 7:20PM, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER HARRIS. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. Approved as written or amended on February 21, 2001.
