Planning Commission Meeting The Palmer Lake Planning Commission was called to order by Chairperson Cressman at 7:05 p.m. in the Palmer Lake Town Hall . Attendees:
ITEM #1: Call to Order: 7:00 p.m. ITEM # 2: Comments by Commissioners, Staff or Public on items not on the agenda No public input ITEM # 3: Approval of Minutes – January 18, 2006 Commissioner Atkins made a motion to approve the minutes for January 18, 2006 seconded by Commissioner Solheim. Motion carries unanimously. ITEM# 4: Request for a conditional use in a CC zone for a Mixed Dwelling Permit to include: a restaurant, 2 shops, 6 offices at street level and 3 residential lofts – Krieg Campbell Mr. Campbell – Not quite sure what is going to go in the shops or in the offices, but will be complementary to what is in surrounding buildings. There will be enough parking, some off the front and additional parking under the building. Diane Kokes - 195 Glenway; Jeannie Engel – 94 Glenway have the following concerns:
Dave Wilson would like to see the comprehensive plan be use when designing the building. Mr. Campbell and his partners will make it a point to get with all surrounding property owners to make sure that everyone is happy with the project. All of the concerns listed above will be addressed and taken care of. Commissioner Atkins made a motion to recommend to Town Council the approval of the Conditional Use in a CC Zone for a Mixed Dwelling permit to comply with the comprehensive plan and blend with all neighbors on each side seconded by Commissioner Solheim. Motion carries unanimously. Commissioner Cooper made a motion to adjourn at 9:05 p.m., Seconded by Commissioner solheim. Motion carries unanimously. Approved as written or amended on May 17 , 2006.
