Planning Commission Meeting The Palmer Lake Planning Commission was called to order by Chairperson Cressman at 7:05 p.m. in the Palmer Lake Town Hall.
AUDIENCE: 6 ITEM #1: Call to Order: 7:00 p.m. ITEM # 2: Comments by Commissioners, Staff or Public on items not on the agenda No public input ITEM # 3: Approval of Minutes – February 28, 2007 Commissioner Solheim made a motion to approve the minutes from February 28, 2007, seconded by Commissioner Cooper. Motion carries unanimously. ITEM# 4: Consent Items Commissioner Atkins made a motion to recommend to Town Council the approval of the sign permit for Stellar Styles Salon seconded by Commissioner Solheim. Motion carries unanimously. ITEM # 5: Request a change to a PUD – Mission Training International – 421 HWY 105 Mr. Ennis is asking for an addition to be added to Mission Training International. The additions will be very slight and unnoticed from Highway 105 Commissioner Martin made a motion to recommend to Town Council the approval for the change to the pud for mission training international seconded by Commissioner Atkins. Motion carries unanimously. ITEM #5: Request for a conditional use in a CC Zone – HWY 105 – Guillermo Moratorio (Alma Construction Corp.) Mr. Moratorio would like to sell sheds on the vacant land owned by James Fitzgerald. Mr. Fitzgerald has given Mr. Moratorio a lease agreement. The sheds will be on display only. There will be no office located on this site. Mr. Moratorio will be doing some upgrades to the property in the way of landscape. Commissioner Atkins made a motion to recommend to Town Council the approval for the Conditional Use on HWY 105 for Alma Sheds with the understanding that a culvert will be installed at the entrance, split rail fence and all trash will be removed seconded by Commissioner Martin. Motion carries unanimously. Commissioner Martin made a motion to adjourn at 7:45 p.m., Seconded by Commissioner Cooper. Motion carries unanimously. Approved as written or amended on June 20, 2007.
