Planning Commission Meeting
July 19, 2006

The Palmer Lake Planning Commission was called to order by Chairperson Cressman at 7:05 p.m. in the Palmer Lake Town Hall.

ITEM #1: Call to Order: 7:05 p.m.

ITEM # 2: Comments by Commissioners, Staff or Public on items not on the agenda

No public input

ITEM # 3: Minutes approval from June 21, 2006

Commissioner Atkins made a motion to approve the minutes form june 21, 2006 seconded by Commissioner Cooper.  Motion carries unanimously

ITEM # 4: Request for a sign permit  for Ann Jones – Catering

Commissioner trombley made a motion to recommend to town council the approval of the sign permit for Ann Jones Catering, seconded by Commissioner Solheim.  Motion carries unanimously

ITEM# 5: Request for a replat and detention pond for Inn at Palmer Divide – Al Fritts

1. Ordered 3 different light fixtures to help solve the light problem
1. Change balance
2. Lower wattage bulb – 50 watt
3. Exterior cap

2. Changed drainage to include moving detention pond (Basin B) on to his land
3. Got an agreement from MTI for easements. (see letter of intent)

Commissioner Atkins made a motion to recommend to Town Council the approval of the replat and detention pondfor the Inn @ Palmer Divide with the understanding that Paul Gilbert must approve the changes and placement for Basin B (Detention Pond), in additon that the final replat be recordable copy be presented to the Town Council prior to the workshop on August 3, 2006, seconded by Commissioner Cooper.  Motion carries unanimously.

ITEM #6: Request for a Minor Subdivision with a Conditional Use for a single family resident – Krieg Campbell

Commissioner Solheim made a motion to recommend to Town Council the Minor Subdivision with a conditional use for a single family resident seconded by commissioner Cooper .  Motion carries unanimously.

Commissioner Solheim made a motion to adjourn at 9:02 p.m., Seconded by Commissioner Cornell.  Motion carries unanimously.

Approved as written or amended on August 16, 2006.
