8.10.010 Palmer Lake Municipal Code
This notice is notification of the continuing fire ban within the city limits of Palmer Lake and the Palmer Lake Watershed. This ban prohibits all outdoor open burning including campfires, charcoal grills and any form of fireworks, which includes "Safe and Sane" including but not limited to sparklers, snakes, wheels, or any other ground spinners, cylindrical fountains, cone fountains.
The fire danger is very high this year and this ban is necessary to minimize a disastrous fire. We encourage all parents to make a special effort in the supervision/education of their children of the importance of this firework/fire ban order.
